SKILLS ASSESSMENT FOR SATURDAY, MARCH 24 AT 10 IS CANCELLED!!

SEE NOTE BELOW FROM COMMISSIONER, GREG KNOX:

The Gods have conspired against me. Narberth playground is a swamp. I can't let anyone on the field this weekend. I've consulted with the coaches and we can use last year's season to evaluate most of our sign ups already. There is only six players I am unfamiliar with. We'll have all the players and coaches come to Narberth Playground on Thursday evening, March 29, for a group practice from 5:45-7:30 PM, so the coaches can get a better look at everyone. Get Ready: OPENING DAY IS SATURDAY, MARCH 31. Players will report to Narberth Playground at 9:00 AM, there'll be a little ceremony at 9:30, and the first ball should be thrown out around 9:45 AM. I'm sorry I could not get the weather to cooperate. Thanks, Greg

To be eligible to play the player needs to be 11 years old by May 1,2007.

The in house league is played down at the Narberth playground. The intraleague games are played down Narbeth Park or over in Havertown at West Gate field.

The season runs from mid-March (weather permitting), through June. Before the teams are drafted, there will be a skills assessment down at Narberth playground. Coaches will assess the players. The skills assessment will take place on March 10, 2007 at 10 am down at Narberth playground.

The cost is $100 per child. There is no family rate for this league. If you have a child playing t-shiet and a child playing softball, each program is separate and has a separate fee.
